Very nice service...quite apologetic when food took a little longer to come out of the kitchen. It wasn't, however, really worth the wait. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing to make you come back, either. Good, warm bread to start, followed by uninspiring salad. The lasagna and baked ziti were average, while the calzone crust was as tasteless as can be. Again, nothing wrong with this place, but I have to believe there's better Italian fare out there.

Went to this restaurant base on reviews. Well... This place is in the front end of a strip center. It's small and dingy not rustic or comfortable at all, tables are very crowded. When my wife and I ordered a antipasto for two the waitress loudly exclaimed "is that all?'" Well we had a glass of wine and a beer as well. Both way expensive. The assorted vegies in the antipasto salad were very sour and hard and tasted old.Warm bread (very commercial, not home made) was served about 15 minutes into the meal. When our bill came we were charged extra for sharing a "salad for two" I didn't say anything as the owner had been on the phone telling customers not to be ordering take out so late. He was very rude. My wife and I were not at all comfortable in this place. Our waitress kept sneeking outside to talk to some lowlife types drinking at the outside tables and the owner kept going out to get her and telling her to get to work. This place seems like more of a hangout for the owners family and friends. Not visitor friendly.

Just moved to the area and decided to give Brusco's a try... It was a good choice! Had the 14" Pizza which tasted great and was enough food for the two of us. We got our pizza to go, but next time we will dine-in and order a meal off the menu. They have many nice looking dishes and of course they have all the common dishes you would expect like pasta, chicken, veal and more. I recommend Brusco's for the food and the wonder service.

We had delivery! Food was decent, nothing to write home about! Was looking forward to the stuffed shells and they were a little cheesier then I prefer, but others may enjoy! I was also unimpressed with the mozzarella sticks, seemed like they were previously frozen. Still on the hunt for 'our' Italian spot!

We have been to Bruscos 2 times this year . Both times the 3 of us have been happy with everything! The place is a hidden gem in Deerfield beach!!! It reminds us of home (Rochester ny) I had the Zuppa di pesh My wife had mussels marinara and my daughter had a shrimp dish all were outstanding ! The salad was a bit small but good! Last night 11-7-14 we ordered the antipasto and a Sicilian pizza half margarita and half pepperoni another awesome meal !!! The staff is always friendly .. Prices are average . And food is AWESOME !! We will continue to visit this restaurant!! thank you for making us feel at home!!!!

I went to Brusco's twice. I found the restaurant to be quaint with a decent homage to Italy. The owner and his mom were nice people, especially the mom. But the staff leaves much to desire. I noticed when we first walked in and sat down that the staff seemed pre-occupied. Although the wait person came to take our order I still couldn't help but notice everyone else hanging around. Although we dined early - 6 pm it came off odd. This review is based on my second time at the restaurant. First off there were only two tables occupied including us. The other group was pretty much finished and was just chatting. When we were ready to order I found the waitress rude and not very accommodating. We ordered a calamari appetizer and two ravioli dishes. When a different server brought out the calamari - he dropped a few off our plate when trying to put the plate on our table. I've never seen that happen in all my years of dinning. But I didn't make a fuss over that but unfortunately that was not the first issue we had. When it came time the waitress brought out ONE order of raviolis which by the way (6 count) 14 dollars is pretty pricy. Yes only ONE plate, she stated that the other would be coming right out. Well 5 minutes went by, 10 minutes went by, 15 minutes! Finally after 20 minutes - I asked the waiter "hey what's up with my raviolis'? He went to the back to find out. Then the owner came over with a worried look and cleared my father's long finished plate away, I told the owner hey forget about my order. He said oh it's coming right out which it FINALLY did. I even ordered a dessert after all that (cannoli 7 dollars!) which was average. In the end can you believe that no explanation was given for my late arriving order! No apology! The waitress had a serious attitude and was defiant in her mannerisms. And to top it all off no discount was given for the dropping of our appetizer or the extremely late arriving food! Unheard of!!! To top it off my father is a regular! Who treats their customers this way? By the way the restaurant was empty! How do you forget to place an order when only one table with two people sitting there are ordering?! I was in town visiting from Los Angeles and I'm not sure how long this place has been around but I'm betting they won't last with this level of service at these prices!!

My family and I went on Yelp to find a good Italian place for dinner tonight. We are new to the area, and were relying on reviews. The service was awful. All the waitresses were rude and barely waited on us. They forgot our appetizer. And the food was sub-par and over-priced. Will not be eating there again.

Based on Yelp reviews, I decided to try this place.....VERY glad I did! Quaint, cute decor. Not busy, but got rather busy before we left....mostly local regulars. And, that speaks well for Brusco's. Maximillan was our server....so nice and helpful. Salad was crisp and fresh, and not too much. Bread was average...I would have preferred more crustiness and good oil to dip in. My mom had Chicken Parm/pasta side.....very good and large portion. I had Snapper Francais'....YUMMY!!!! Excellent! Light, melted in your mouth. Linguine with Lemon Butter Sauce al dente and good. We'll return here, for sure. And, Max....."Thanks a-million"!!!

This is second time eating here. First time was good but nothing special. Second time just killed it forever, sad to say. The waitress had a major attitude and everything seemed to bother her . The food this time was also very bad. 3 out of 4 of our party had stomach pains after the meal. Based on the other reviews I'm not sure. They were eating in the same place that we did. Are there new owners? or just a lack of consistency and integrity in their. Food. If I could give no stars I would have to.

Awesome. We've now eaten here twice within a week. The best veal and shrimp parm in town.

Very good. We had the special which was a carbonara with a little red sauce to make it pink. It was amazing. It's our new favorite.

This place would have gotten three stars because overall it was average but the fact that I paid 9 bucks for two skunked beers did not help the cause at all. The atmosphere of the place was really cute and very little Italy. Small but cozy. The large pizza with three toppings was 17 bucks. That's gettin way up there in price for the average quality of this pie. First pet peeve, I hate canned mushrooms. But, they are so few and far between at decent pizza places that I never rememeber to ask which ones they have, though I really should. The only thing with flavor on the pizza was the sliced tomatoes. Other than that, skimpy sauce, skimpy cheese and barely any fresh basil. The crust had zero flavor. I felt like I was eating pizza chow for dogs. I could have literally gotten a better pizza at the papa johns right next door. By the way, we were starving when we ate this, so if we couldn't enjoy it then, I couldnt imagine eating it when you just have a little grumble in your tummy. As I mentioned earlier I got two beers that tasted soo strange. I know what that particular brand should taste like and it was not right. Unfortunately, this was takeout so we couldn't drive all the way back with two opened beer bottles. So, this place gets two stars. There are way too many pizza places around that trump this place for me to rate it any higher than that. My bf and I totally agreed on this.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
